Melissa Weber – Queens Teacher arrested for Sex With 14 Year-Old Student

Melissa Weber a 27 year old middle school social studies teacher in Queens, New York has been arrested for having sex on 7 occasions with her 14 year old student. The reports say that the incidents have started around April 13 this year and have continued for around a month.

The mother of 14 year-old boy was warned by friends and the school PTA to look into rumors of inappropriate behavior between her son and Melissa Weber. The boy’s mother obtained Melissa Weber’s phone number and then checked her son’s cellphone. The mother discovered hundreds of phone calls and text messages between Weber and her son. Some of the text messages from Weber warned the teen boy to not tell anyone about their relationship and near the end when Weber feared getting caught, one message simply said “Erase your phone.”

Melissa Weber is awaiting an arraignment hearing for the charges of statutory rape, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. If convicted she could face up to seven years in prison.
