Rajeev Motwani, Google founders’ Stanford professor and early investor, Passed Away





Rajeev Motwani is the great man for silicon valley, of computer science, adviser for Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page.

Rajeev founded the Mining Data at Stanford project (MIDAS) was an early investor in Paypal which was a data management concepts ,  his unique passion for teaching and technology are well noticed. His investing and mentoring many of them had continued research at Stanford University.

Rajeev was always kind to speak at a number of  events and was genuinely supportive of any efforts of any body.His cotribution has comes to an end Rajeev Motwani has died earlier in the morning 5th june.Rajeev was looked still active as a professor and was teached a couple of classes as recently as the last semester.

Rajeev was also very interested in data privacy, web search, robotics, computational drug design and theoretical computer science,he written a book titled Randomized Algorithms, as well as a textbook, and produced numerous technology patents, for his research he got many awards and in them one was Godel prize Rajeev was also acted in Business Association of Stanford Engineering Students (BASES).Rajeev was native to New Delhi he certified in bachelor’s degree in computer science from IIT Kanpur in 1983, and later moved to UC Berkeley for doctorate.

Funeral arrangements have not been yet  announced.
