YSR is dead – Andhra Pradesh CM in India died in a Helicopter Crash

YSR is dead as the Indian authorities have recovered 5 bodies near Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s chopper which crash landed on a hill near Kurnool in NallaMalla forests of Southern India. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was travelling from Hyderabad to Chittoor in a Chopper – a Bell 430 helicopter, yesterday. The news is confirmed by Prime Ministers Office PMO in India.
YSR’s chopper was located near 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool according to Indian Air Force. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s Helicopter has been located on top of a hill.
Reasons for crash are still to be investigated.
Biggest Ever Rescue Mission in India
Soon after the chopper lost contact, many government agencies of the state and center including Army and Air Force have launched a massive hunt for survivors or possible wreckage in the desolate terrain. It was country’s biggest-ever search operation with satellites in the sky joining remote sensing aircraft, fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, troops on the ground and even tribal villagers without shoes.
