The Fourth Kind true story sets in Nome, Alaska. The Fourth Kind The Fourth Kind is a science fiction/thriller/horror film directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, and starring Milla Jovovich. The film is purported to be a documentary reenactment deals with alien abductions. The title is derived from J. Allen Hynek’s classification of close encounters with aliens, in which the fourth kind denotes an alien abduction.
According to Mayor Denise Michels,The Fourth Kind, horror movie tries to say that documented disappearances of Nome residents are the result of alien abductions and that’s just Hollywood hooey.
In 2006, the Anchorage Daily News did a story on the disappearances in Nome, Alaska and provided the FBI’s conclusions about them. What were those conclusions? That the winter climate and alcoholism were to blame for the disappearances of 24 people over 40 years.
On the other hand there are also news that there isn’t even any evidence to support the movie’s main character ever existed at all. The movie uses what it terms “aliases” throughout.

All what i wanna know is if the movie or any of the events are true. I heard from alot of people that its all fake. Then from other people they say its true. So I’m sittin here saying what the hell?!? Is it true or not?? What the hell?!? If it is.. dam I’m gone.. lol…:P
