According to the latest news, Milvina Dean, Last Titanic Survivor of the legendary ocean liner Titanic, which sank on its maiden voyage in April 1912 after striking an iceberg in the North Atlantic, died Sunday. She was 97. Millvina Dean was the last remaining survivor of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, which occurred on 15 April 1912. The film became the highest-grossing film of all time, with a worldwide total of over $1.8 billion, and remained so for twelve years until Cameron’s directorial follow-up, Avatar, surpassed it in 2010. The film is due to be re-released in theatres in 2012 after Cameron completes its 3-D transformation.
