NS2: Natural Selection 2 alpha release on Steam tonight! – Unknown Worlds Entertainment release of the first alpha version sci-fi FPS-RTS hybrid Natural Selection 2 is slated for release via Steam later tonight.

People who pre-order the $39.95 version of the game. People who has pre-ordered the Special Edition of NS2 will be able to get to play this early version of the game. After the alpha build is released at 9 pm Eastern time, the Special Edition will no longer be available for purchase. The regular edition of the game priced at $19.95, will go up in price after the alpha version is released. Natural Selection 2 (NS 2) is a multiplayer computer game mixing first-person shooter and real-time strategy gameplay. It is set in a science fiction universe, and is currently under development. NS 2 will be set a few years after the original Natural Selection.
