Google voice – make and recieve calls from gmail phone – google phone





Google voice yesterday has released the capability to make and recieve calls from your gmail. The google phone is integrated to talk and users can user it to dial numbers within usa.

In a blog post on Google Voice Blog Google has announced that “Starting today you can use Gmail to receive or place Google Voice calls.”

How to receive a call with Google voice

All you need to do to start with Google voice is to check the box next to Google Chat in your list of forwarding phones and the next time someone calls your Google Voice number, Gmail will notify you of an incoming call. You can take the call or even listen in as the caller leaves a message, in a single step right from your computer.

How to make a call using Google Voice from Gmail

To make a call, just click the Call phone link in Gmail and enter any number or name from your address book.

This feature will only be released to U.S. based Gmail users. More so the Google Apps users will get it only after some time.
