World s Tallest Man is Turkish giant Sultan Kosen

Turkish giant Sultan Kosen – the world’s tallest man – met his country’s shortest woman Elit Kocama. 27 year old SultanKosen stands 8ft 1in – exactly 6 feet taller than Elit who is 20 year old.

A Turkish man and woman (Sultan Kosen and Elit Kocama) have been approved by the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest man and shortest woman in the world. The records were announced at the launch of the latest edition of the book, in Istanbul. SultanKosen is one of only 12 individuals in medical history to be confirmed at a height of 8ft or more. He is set to undergo treatment that will hopefully stop him growing any taller. Elif Kocaman, 22 and is just 28.6 inches tall.
