Christopher Nolan’s new Inception movie wins Hollywood Movie Award.
According to the latest news and updated reports Filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” was honored as the winner of the 14th annual Hollywood Movie Award, which was presented at a pageant held overnight in Los Angeles, the organizer said on Tuesday. The contemporary sci-fi actioner was chosen by the public voting online at the Yahoo! Movies website as the winner of the most prominent honor in the event. Inception is a 2010 American science fiction film written, produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, and Michael Caine. DiCaprio plays Dom Cobb, a thief who extracts information from the unconscious mind of his victims while they dream. Unable to visit his children, Cobb is offered a chance to regain his old life in exchange for one last job: performing inception, the planting of an idea into the mind of his client’s competitor.

Nine other popular films including “Alice in Wonderland,” “Despicable Me,” “The Expendables, ” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Iron Man 2,” “Salt,” “The Social Network,” “Shutter Island” and “Toy Story 3″ were nominated for the honor.
