Josh Duhamel, Katie Holmes and Blair Underwood have joined Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Philip Berk to announce the nominations for The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday morning, December 14, 2010 at approx. 5:00 a.m. at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Nominations will be announced in 25 categories. The ceremony will feature 10 best-movie nominees — five each in the dramatic category and the musical or comedy category. The people who were nominated have been taken by them getting nominated. Here are a few reactions.
The “Kids Are All Right” actress, who was nominated for best actress along with co-star Annette Bening, said she missed the initial call about her nomination.”I was busy putting towels in the dryer this morning and didn’t hear my phone ring, so when my friend called a little later I was pretty sure she was consoling me,” she told etonline.com. “I am so thrilled to be nominated!”
Meanwhile, best supporting actress nominee Mila Kunis was “happily asleep” when she heard about her nomination.”The phone wouldn’t stop ringing so I finally picked up,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “When you’re half-asleep and the phone rings and it’s pitch black outside you think the worst. I automatically assumed somebody got hurt.”
