Homeless Ted Williams checks into Rehab

It was just one week ago that former homeless man with a ‘golden radio voice’ Ted Williams was plucked from the streets for a second chance at fame. And now he is back where he actually should be.

After watching Ted’s life turn around in an instant – finding work and being reunited with his mother, Ted has admitted to drug and alcohol addictions in the past, The rehab announcement comes just days after Ted and one of the adult daughters he abandoned 20 years ago got into a verbal spat that turned into a fist fight at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood. Though no arrests were made, cops did briefly detain both Dad & Daughter.

Ted’s daughter claims the former radio announcer — who has been courted for voiceover work by dozens of Fortune 500 companies ever since a clip of him “Talking for Food” went viral earlier this month — has been regularly getting drunk since his unlikely rise to fame. Turns out, she was telling the truth/ Although Williams has publicly claimed that he’s been sober for more than two years, he admitted to Dr. Phil that that was a lie. In fact, he’s been drinking daily.

Dave Niehaus dies of a cardiac arrest

Voice of the youth, Mariners Hall of Fame broadcaster Dave Niehaus, died of a heart attack.

He was an American sportscaster. He was the lead play-by-play announcer for the American League’s Seattle Mariners from their inaugural season in 1977 until his death in 2010. He was awarded in 2008 the Ford C. Frick Award by the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. The Frick award is the highest honor for American baseball broadcasters. Among Pacific Northwest fans and his peers, Niehaus is considered one of the finest sportscasters in history.

FUN 107 Sharon Fogaren who was the co-host of the “J.R. and Sharon” morning radio show, has died after the complications from a heart attack she suffered two weeks earlier.

FUN 107 website has posted a message on their Web site, writing:

We here at FUN 107 have lost one of our family members. Sharon Fogaren, who has been a part of FUN 107 listener’s morning routine off and on for the past 14 years has passed away due to complications of a heart attack she suffered two weeks ago.

We thank everyone for their continued support, prayers, and we would like to continue her memory here on FUN 107.com and we send our condolences to Sharon’s family and close friends.
