The next night on Monday Night Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mr. McMahon came out at the top of the program to address the WWE Championship issue. Just afterward, in an announcement presumably to follow through on the announced main-event stipulation that John Cena would be fired by Mr. McMahon, the storyline took an unexpected twist as HHH came out with an announcement of his own — that Mr. McMahon was being given a vote of “no confidence” by the (fictional) WWE Board of Directors, and that HHH would take on day-to-day operations of WWE, effectively firing McMahon instead. At this point, HHH refused to follow through with firing Cena, nullifying that stipulation.

The finals of this tournament will pit The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio in a match to take place at the July 25, 2011 Monday Night Raw in Hampton, Virginia.

Cast of Happy Days are suing CBS Studios for more than $10 million in damages over use of their images on merchandise. But Henry Winkler and Ron Howard, who played main lead are not part of the suit. HappyDays which aired for 255 episodes from 1974 to 1984, had been a very successful series.

Lara Logan was assaulted so badly that she was later rescued by Egyptian soldiers and women. She has sustained injuries and is currently in hospital.

According to CBS report

“On Friday, Feb. 11, the day Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes” story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.

In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.”

Lara Logan CBS reporter assaulted in Egypt

More details are not available at this time but the CBS further added that there will be no more comments from their side citing privacy. “There will be no further comment from CBS News and correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.”

We wish Lara Logan a speedy recovery and want Egyptian to bring the accused people to book.

There are jobs that are dangerous for women than for men. But we feel women do have right to hold those jobs. Some say that in many dangerous professions (including defence etc) the women’s inclusion that conditions can bring change.

Reporter Stroke at Grammy 2011? Serene Branson CBS reporter reportedly suffered stroke during the Grammy 2011 while she was on air. Serene Branson although looks young and healthy was covering the Grammy 2011 live. According to reports her voice became suddenly blurred and she was looking confused.

The reporter Serene Branson was in distress as she found that she is having an stroke. The disturbing video of Serene Branson’s was shared and uploaded on Youtube by a number of users and was termed as “Reporter Stroke”. Most of the Reporter Stroke video were later removed by CBS citing copyright (like the one below).

According to her CBS colleagues Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast and her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning.

Early in the morning of January 27, 2011, Sheen was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by paramedics who responded to a 9-1-1 call from Sheen’s Beverly Hills home. Sheen’s representative claimed the actor was suffering from “severe abdominal pains”.

Several media sources reported that Sheen had been partying at the home with several  stars for a number of days prior to the 9-1-1 call. On January 28, 2011, it was announced that Sheen had voluntarily entered a rehabilitation center. In a statement, CBS announced that Two and a Half Men would go into an immediate hiatus as a result of Sheen’s rehab stay.

On television, Sheen is known for his roles on two sitcoms: as Charlee Crawford on Spin City and as Charlie Harper on Two and a Half Men. As of 2010, Sheen was the highest paid actor on television, earning $1.8 million per episode of Two and a Half Men.
