<p>According to reports, Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco visited Williams at his Brooklyn home around 4:30 a.m. Friday and Williams later committed to the Fighting Irish. Williams had been schedule to go on a official visit to Penn State over the weekend, but Notre Dame swooped in to nab the four-star recruit.</p>
<p>Williams said in the past that he will enroll early at whichever college he chooses and classes begin next week at Notre Dame.</p>

<p>Known as a hands-on baseball executive, he earned the nickname &#8220;The Boss.&#8221; His tendency to meddle in daily on-field decisions, and to hire and fire (and sometimes re-hire) managers led then-Yankees skipper Dallas Green to give him the derisive nickname &#8220;Manager George.&#8221;During Steinbrenner&#8217;s ownership from 1973 to his death, the longest in club history, the Yankees earned 11 pennants and 7 <a href="http://www.trendznow.com/tag/world-series/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with World Series">World Series</a> titles.</p>
<p>He died after suffering a heart attack in his Tampa home on the morning of July 13, 2010, day of the 81st All-Star Game.</p>

David Americo Ortiz Arias  is a Dominican Major League Baseball designated hitter for the Boston Red Sox. Nicknamed &#8220;Big Papi&#8221;, Ortiz is a six-time All-Star and holds the Red Sox single-season record for home runs with 54, set during the 2006 season. Ortiz is 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) and weighs 230 pounds (104 kg). Ortiz plays first base in NL parks.</p>
